37- Walking Back In Time

I can see my life in backward slow motion I'm in a coffin going back to the hospital The doctors are taking my heart out of my body They said I needed a surgery cause I was old They didn't know that the burdens of life made me age fast ..

I've lived alone for a while Most of the friends I cared about have grown old and tired And my wife died long ago She was my only sunshine But now I've lived in the dark We had so many grandchildren and three kids of our own Our two sons and daughter had great education My wife and I raised them well We had great plans in our life and we achieved most of them ..

I met my love when we were at the university We were like two cherries hugging each other I studied engineering But my dad wanted me to be a lawyer And my mom wanted me to be a writer I had one brother and two sisters with whom I used to play a lot In the garden of our little house I had a big dog and I loved him much My mother said that I was a great boy And a chubby baby when I was born I had the look of an angel, she said ..

Now my body is under the ground And my soul is waiting for the doors of heaven to be opened So that the angel might enter …
