The Thoughtful Poet

I'm Khalid Belkhalfi, born in the red city of Marrakesh in 1966. I'm a computer engineer with a master's degree in management from the Cleveland State University, Ohio, USA. I work as a General Manager of a private school in the city of Marrakesh. I also teach English as a second language at the same school. I'm married and a father of three wonderful kids.

My love for literature and book reading has pushed me to write and take this wonderful journey towards the inner self and out towards the complexity of the world.

I'm also a singer I compose my own music and I have and album out fully sang in Arabic, O'My Heart You Promised.. I chose in it only great Arabic poems from very well known poets.
