I entered to the coffee shop It was early in the morning I was the first client of the day I ordered a cup of coffee and I sat there and waited ..
The place was calm The only thing I could hear was the sound of the coffee machine The smell of the Arabica couldn't be avoided The same scent that I'm addicted to..
The sun started to shine brightly It was going to be a warm day ..
My coffee arrived I threw in a piece of sugar to make my world sweeter and with a spoon I began to turn my past Suddenly, memories started to gravitate around me like satellites around planets ..
I was daydreaming With each sip I could bring to my attention a specific memory I could hear the voices of the people of my past I could see myself in different places and times The schools I went through The stress of the exams I used to take The day I graduated from the university The people I used to work with The first time I met my wife The hospital in which my first child was born And the vacations I had with my kids ..
Some thoughts brought joy and enlightenments to my heart Others wiped off the smiles in my face But they all had one thing in common The love of pure and freshly grounded coffee Each sip brought a different taste
Time in my mind was suspended I was in harmony with myself I was the master of my thoughts And coffee was a gateway to my memories
Suddenly the door of the coffee shop opened Another client had arrived The noise brought me back to the present I looked at my watch and I found out that I'd spent only ten minutes or so sitting there But it was peaceful and relaxing I took my last sip and I disappeared into the universe
