I dived in a swimming pool to release myself from the summer heat.
As my body was coming to a peaceful rest deep in the pool,
silence started to invade my ears
and I was saved from the hurtful voices of the civilized world.
I felt as if I was hiding in a secret place where time ceased to exist.
I didn't feel the weight of my body and it seemed to me that I was being washed from the burdens of life that have made my soul heavy.
I was there, with a heart beating peacefully, and I was floating like an angel who's waiting for the gates of paradise to open.
I wished this inspiring moment would never end. But a burning sensation woke me up from my dream, asking me to go back up to the dark world.
I tried to resist but the urge of inhaling oxygen; this poisonous substance that I'm addicted to, brought me back to reality and pushed me out of my hiding place.
I wasn't an angel anymore and I was cursed to go back to the world of sins.
My body already started to feel heavy again...
And I thought: Maybe next time the gates of paradise would be more clement...
