She was still young when she first walked into the big train station Seduced by adventure but she had no destination With a smile in her pretty face and a small suitcase in hand And nothing much to wear but everything was as she planned ..
All she wanted is leaving home and those ugly faces she fought Elsewhere everything else was beautiful, she thought She bought a one way ticket she was not coming back anyway And jumped into the first train that was leaving far away ..
Next to her was sitting a handsome man reading a magazine Unexpectedly, they were talking and sharing some good caffeine The train left the town where she grew up and the voyage felt sweet Didn't care about family nor the used car she left in the street ..
Soon her warm heart was beating for the young man and they got married And all of her past in her memory was deeply buried The train went on but she aged fast and started to think about the old days And her life became harder with all the kids she had to raise ..
The train she was taking wasn't going to the land of her dreams And her hidden memories started to flow with the streams Each new face might have been a better companion she thought But she lost a lot of distance from everything she sought ..
In every town she crossed she was trying to find A small resemblance of all the streets she left behind She was missing family and friends and was losing her brain She had made the wrong choice by jumping on the first train ..
