I do not remember from where My seeds were carried by the wind But my roots are planted here I'm unique, I’m one of its kind
Each day I'm digging deeper to drink To satisfy my lack of love So that my fruits won't die and shrink From the burning sun high above
I've learned how to fight winter The cold and the harshness of snow The dry wind of fall, strong and bitter When all my leaves fall so low
I know how to smile to spring When I'm wearing my precious flowers I know summer when the birds sing And when I see heavy showers
Now I'm a beautiful tree I'm strong with so much things to give You can take my fruits for free I have learned how to forgive
Take my branches, warm your heart And sing to the world my story But don't cut my roots apart They are my values, they are my glory
“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.” ― Mahatma Gandhi
